Shortly after arriving in Perth from London’s Hatton Garden in 1971, Peter Greene began creating bespoke jewellery from a basement in Perth’s Barrack Street.

In 1983, he established Solid Gold Diamonds, a manufacturing and retail jewellery centre, now one of Australia’s premier diamond jewellers. A 2013 relocation from the historic Gledden Building to Perth’s Hay Street Mall created one of Australia’s largest diamond showrooms, with a glass wall, from where clients can view master jewellers work to their exacting specifications.
