Following the success of the debut event in 2023, Rio Tinto is delighted to unveil the second collection of the Beyond™ Rare Tender. Known as The Art Series, this exciting global sales format celebrates the most extraordinarily rare masterpieces of the universe - diamonds. Titled Colour Awakened, The Art Series 02 is an exposition of potent colour. Comprising 48 lots, including single diamonds and curated diamond sets, the collection celebrates the diamond’s earthly journey, where the dazzling hues hidden within are unveiled by the careful hands of master artisans.
Leading the collection this year are seven ‘Old Masters’ – notable historic diamonds from the Argyle Diamond Mine, reemerging after decades, the pinnacle of eminence and rarity. This extraordinary curation also includes pink, red and blue Argyle Diamonds™ sourced from Rio Tinto’s remaining polished inventory from the Argyle Diamond Mine, together with yellow and white diamonds from Rio Tinto’s Diavik Diamond Mine in Canada. Exquisite shades sourced from opposite ends of the Earth, the beauty of each lot is exceeded only by the purity of its provenance.
