With its mesmerising vibrant pink colour and strong form, Argyle Spectre™ takes its name from the revered ballet, ‘Le Spectre de la Rose’, or ‘The Spirit of the Rose’. 1.21 carat square emerald radiant Fancy Red. Possessing the trifecta of incomparable colour, carat weight and clarity, Argyle Cardinal - one of the largest of just a handful of Fancy Red diamonds ever unearthed - is one of the most valuable coloured diamonds in the world. To acknowledge the diamond’s extraordinarily rare colour, it has been named after the Cardinal, a protected bird species from the Americas that is celebrated for its vibrant red plumage and melodic song.

2.17 carat rectangle emerald Fancy Intense Purple Pink. A delicate treasure that has a perfect balance of pink and purple hues. This equal colour is incredibly rare, but Argyle Rosette has the added distinction of being the equal largest Fancy Intense Purple Pink diamond, and of purer clarity. The European Roseate Tern is a seabird that has rosy light pink feathers throughout summer.

1.59 carat rectangle emerald Fancy Intense Purplish Pink. Argyle Toki emanates beauty and serenity while exhibiting an outstanding pairing of SI clarity and carat weight. It is amongst the finest Fancy Intense Purplish Pink diamonds offered in the history of the tender. Its namesake is one of the world’s rarest birds, the Toki or Japanese Crested Ibis, which is revered for its grace and has underwings suffused with a delicate pink.

1.56 carat round brilliant cut Fancy Red. In 2013 Argyle Phoenix achieved the highest per carat price for any stone ever produced from the Argyle Diamond Mine. Exceptionally rare, this diamond, in luscious red hues, is the largest round brilliant Fancy Red diamond graded by the GIA, a body that rarely provides a Fancy Red grading. It is also unique for a red diamond, due to its shape, cut, size and colour. It is not typical to cut coloured diamonds as round brilliants, and the end result is testament to the planning and cutting that allowed such colour to be achieved.

This diamond’s name is inspired by the serenely beautiful Shalimar Gardens, in Kashmir - an exotic sanctuary built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in the early 17th century as a gift to his beloved wife, Nur Jahan.
